(San Diego, Vancouver, Tel Aviv, and Beijing), the programmatic title for presenting
research and applications in the field of Decision Analysis, Utility

to gather scholars of high expertise. In Salt Lake City, we want to push forward the

About Salt Lake City
Mormons have founded Salt Lake City in 1847. Especially in the United States, the
city is best known as the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Utahs capital city continues to have a strong identification with Mormonism. Temple
Square, Brigham Youngs Beehive House, This Is The Place State Park and other
Mormon-related sites are prominent sight seeing attractions in the downtown area. Besides,
Salt Lake City is surrounded by splendid mountain scenery, which invites to go hiking and
mountain biking in summer and skiing in winter. In 2002, the city will host the Winter
Olympics. If you are able to extend your radius of travel a little, Lake Powell and the
Glen Canyon Region should definitely be on your list of places to visit. Following, you
find some links to web sites which might help to prepare the journey.
